No plan. Just a gut feeling. That’s how every great story begins.
On New Year’s Eve, I packed my entire life into storage and set off to travel the world with the man I thought I was going to marry.
That chapter ended… and I came back to the States alone.
Heartbroken. Without a home. Unsure of what to do next.
Rather than force new roots, I took it as a sign.
Maybe everything had to fall apart so I could finally do the one thing I’ve always dreamed of: travel the world and share the journey.
One of my favorite quotes says, “Maybe your job is to unlearn everything you’ve learned so you can come back to yourself.”
And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.
Bit by bit, life has asked me to let go—
of who I thought I was,
of what I thought I wanted,
of plans, stuff, and beliefs that were never really mine…
coded into me by a system built to keep me busy, compliant, and disconnected from myself.
Now I’m standing in that white space— like Neo in the Construct—
where everything familiar has fallen away.
And I get to choose:
what to rebuild,
what to carry,
what to leave behind,
and most importantly,
who I want to be now.
If you’ve ever had to rebuild from scratch
or if you’re standing in the unknown right now
I hope this finds you.
Because one thing I’ve learned is this:
instead of thinking “what if it goes wrong,”
start asking “what if it goes right?”
Don’t let fear stop you.
Let your delusions drive you.
And let the next chapter surprise you.
