The Ultimate Winter Staples Guide for 2025/2026

Posted on December 24, 2025January 9, 2026 by Ria

This Ultimate Winter Staples Guide for 2025/2026 is a collection of the things I actually live in and lean on when the temperature drops—cozy outdoor layers, soft indoor essentials, skin-saving skincare, and the quiet self-care rituals that make winter feel nourishing instead of heavy.

These aren’t trends. They’re the pieces and practices that help me stay warm, grounded, and regulated—physically and emotionally. The kind of staples that make winter feel like something to savor, not just survive.

Note: I’ll continue updating this winter staples guide throughout the season. I’ll be updating it with new winter staples, self-care finds, and cozy rituals as they naturally become part of my life.

Soft Girl Winter: My Fave Indoor Outfits for Resting & Recharging

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about rest—not as something you earn, but as something that’s necessary. Not a reward. Not a weakness. Just part of being human.

We don’t judge bears for hibernating… or shame squirrels for slowing down. We understand that rest is simply how they survive the season.

Somehow, we forgot that the same rule applies to us.

One of the biggest lessons I learned this year is to listen to my body instead of overriding it. To eat when I’m hungry. Rest when I’m tired. Take time to heal when I’m sick. Journal when I’m stressed. Cry when I’m sad. Pause when my nervous system asks for it.

Rest is no different.
It’s how we recharge our batteries.
It’s how we regulate.
It’s how we come back to ourselves.

Winter, especially, asks us to soften instead of push.

That’s where Soft Girl Winter comes in.

These are my favorite indoor outfits—the ones I wear when I’m intentionally slowing down. When I’m staying in. When I’m letting my body exhale. They’re cozy, feminine, and comforting—pieces that make resting feel safe and even a little sexy.

Because if we’re going to recharge… we might as well do it in style.

Winter Jacket Staples

These are my go-to winter jackets—the ones I reach for because they just work. Easy to dress up or down, effortless to layer, and versatile enough to pair with countless looks.

They’re the kind of staples that make winter styling simple: throw-on pieces that add warmth, structure, and polish without overthinking it. Reliable, timeless, and always in rotation.
